The Japan Association for working holiday makers provides help and advice to people visiting Japan on Working Holiday Visas and to Japanese youths planning to travel abroad.
JAWHM is also in charge of the job referral services JOB BOARD.
Our goal is to promote the Working Holiday Scheme in Japan.
OUR SERVICES
1. For non-Japanese working holiday makers
JAWHM proposes their services to foreigners coming to Japan with a Working Holiday Visa.
We are here to advices you and reply to your questions about Japanese society, lifestyle, employment situation, taxes, and more.
We also provide a job referral services for foreigners. Job Board references every day a tone of job offer from many companies all around Japan and proposes various job specialities to reflect your current needs.
A consultation service is also available to meet your needs every week days between 12pm and 3pm.
The consultation is mainly about answering to your questions regarding job in Japan, Life in Japan and paperwork.
To help you during you stay in Japan and provide you the help you need, we are at your disposal for further more information and can be contacted by mail or telephone. You can also come to our office in Shinjuku to meet us in person.

The Japan Association for Working Holiday Makers (JAWHM) is a non-profit organisation that provides information and support to Japanese citizens interested in participating in working holiday programmes overseas. JAWHM's main activities include:

Providing information on working holiday programmes: JAWHM's website and publications provide up-to-date information on working holiday programmes in over 50 countries, including eligibility requirements, visa application procedures, and potential work and travel opportunities.

Organising events and workshops: JAWHM hosts regular events and workshops to help potential working holiday visa holders prepare for their overseas experience. These events cover topics such as culture shock, budgeting, and finding work.

Events and workshops are held every day, and there are over 1000 events a year. We have invited stakeholders related to working holiday and study abroad travelers to speak at seminars held online or at real venues in Japan. Over 20,000 participants attend seminars each year to deepen their understanding.

Offering pre-departure and post-departure support: JAWHM provides pre-departure support to help working holiday visa holders prepare for their trip, such as arranging travel insurance and finding accommodation. JAWHM also offers post-departure support, such as helping with job hunting and providing access to emergency assistance.
